Bidding wars on prices

In the San Francisco Bay Area, As long as the inventory is this low, the bidding wars will continue. Traditionally, there should be a slight to moderate inventory increase right after the New Year. Buyers should be prepared to become aggressive in their terms and offer prices. This is not a time to be passive. Prices will more than likely be higher this Summer.

Home Prices in the Tri-City Area (Fremont, Newark and Union City) have seen large gains in the last 12 months. Median Prices, Fremont up 39%, Newark up 11% and Union City up 22%. Great time to sell. Sellers are seeing multiple offers and in most cases, well above the asking price.
